This is an inverter-only 850 VA/12 V PWM model; panels, external battery, DC protection, cables and installation are separate. Do not confuse it with the similarly named NXG PRO MPPT range. Size for both VA and real watts, surge current and desired runtime. Luminous's current page is internally inconsistent: overview copy mentions 24 months while the Specifications section says 36 months, so obtain written warranty confirmation. A July 2026 owner report describes a PS5 dropping during transfer; treat that as one user's warning and do not assume no-break UPS performance for sensitive electronics without a published transfer-time guarantee.

India regulatory note

Use a qualified solar installer to select array voltage/current, battery chemistry, conductor size, DC fuse/isolator, earthing and ventilation. This off-grid unit is not a grid-export inverter and must never backfeed utility wiring; grid connection or net metering requires compliant approved equipment and local DISCOM process. Keep lead-acid batteries ventilated if used, observe polarity and short-circuit precautions, and use authorised battery/e-waste recycling.
