This is an enterprise cargo-drone purchase, not a consumer delivery service. Ask for a written quote that identifies batteries, delivery system or winch, controller, payload accessories, training, service coverage, warranty claimant, replacement lead time and import or compliance documentation.

India regulatory note

Cargo-drone operations in India can require permissions beyond hardware purchase. Verify the current DGCA, Digital Sky, pilot, airspace, payload, insurance, route-planning and local-authority requirements before committing to a deployment.

India warranty and service

As of Jul 2026, DJI operates no India service centre and no official India store: the country selector on DJI’s official repair portal lists roughly 50 country/region sites (US, EU, China, Japan, Australia and others) and India is not among them — Indian users fall under a generic “Other Regions” option. Any DJI unit sold in India is an import, and repair in practice means shipping the unit abroad or relying on the seller’s own arrangement. Get the seller’s warranty commitment in writing and keep the GST invoice; for drones specifically, India’s import ban adds further risk (see the regulatory notes).

Complete drones in CBU, SKD and CKD form are prohibited imports under DGFT Notification 54/2015-20, with narrow authorisation-based exceptions. Components remain free. Before buying foreign-built stock in India, verify lawful provenance, seller identity, GST invoice, warranty owner and the registration path.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Rule 14 of the Drone Rules, 2021 generally requires a UIN before operation. Nano aircraft (250 g or less) are exempt from type certification, the remote-pilot credential and third-party insurance, but do not have a general UIN exemption. DGCA currently says registration of non-type-certified UAS is temporarily suspended; confirm the exact eGCA path, serial number, type certificate and airspace restrictions before purchase or operation.
